What happened in Reservoir section:
Side door overshot had to be run (provided by Archer with Archer-supplied procedures)

What Was Planned

5 1/2″ Series 160 Modified Side Door overshot was shipped to rig in case wireline tools got stuck and electrical release failed.

What Was Learned

Some issues with the procedures would be best clarified with Archer in case needed to be run again – see Actions

What Actions Are Required

With reference to attached document:
1. Page 3 bottom RH photo: refers to a “C” Retainer Shear Ring – tool supplied did not have but had screws in place which were not used – what is the “C” Retainer Shear Ring and what is it used for ??
2. Page 7 top RH photo -reference to Last Turn of the Spiral Grapple being “Very Tight” – should not be the case. Grapple should be loose in the spiral (but retained by the grapple control) to allow the inclined plane between outside of grapple and the body to slide and allow the grapple to bite the fish. Point 4 on page 9 of the procedure repeats this same message – and it feels wrong.
3. Page 12 Paragraph Operation – Engagement of Fish: refers to rotating over the fish. This is a cut and paste from conventional fishing without wire to strip over. If performed, this is a near certainty to cause a catastrophe – i.e. breaking the wire.
